Welcome to Fitarella – your place for Fabulous Fit Living!  I am incredibly excited for this site to come to life, because she (yes, the site is a she) is a longtime dream of mine.  And now I get to share her with you.

So, what does Fitarella:Fabulous Fit Living mean exactly?  Good question.  It means, whatever you want it to mean…whatever fabulous, fit, healthy & fun means to you. For me, Fitarella is many things.  She is ‘Sex in the City meets Richard Simmons.’  She is ‘Barbarella meets Cinderella.’  She is ‘Pink Champagne meets the treadmill.’

I spent most of my life struggling with weight, an eating disorder, and defining myself by my outside. I thought what I looked like was who I was.  And although that is partly true (you are what you eat right?), the problem was much deeper than just my fat ass.  But I won’t bore you with the details about my many years of therapy, years on meds or how I became the fit sexy diva I am today.  I will just tell you that Fitarella is liberation from that madness.  A place where we can all just be ourselves, talk fitness, health, martinis & bread (yes, we do carbs here).  A girl can only live on egg whites, broccoli, grilled chicken & water for so long.
